Accreditation
The
Accreditation Question Booklet contains the SSAA NSW
Hunting & Conservation Program (H&C) workshop modules required
for the issue of NSW Games Council
R Licence and
H&C accreditation.
Candidates may
complete the following modules to meet the
requirements for the NSW
Game Council R Licence:

NSW Acts and Regulations
-
Hunter Ethics
-
Firearms Handling
-
Muzzle
Loading and
Working with Dogs, (this is an optional module
available to participants that wish to include
this on the R licence)
Applicants can complete the following additional
modules and the practical component to gain the H&C
Accreditation:
-
Bushcraft
-
Navigation
-
First Aid
Radio Use
is an additional optional module that is included as
an interest topic - it is not compulsory in order to
gain Accreditation.
A NSW Game Council R
Licence Accreditation form will be issued by SSAA
NSW Hunting & Conservation Program (H&C) on the successful
completion of the required modules. The H&C accreditation will be awarded on the
successful completion and assessment of the modules
and practical component.
The modules in this
booklet may be completed by correspondence OR at a
workshop organised by SSAA NSW. The written
answer sheets are to be handed to the workshop
convener or for correspondence candidates forwarded

Recognition of Prior
Learning (RPL)
For the award of the SSAA NSW Hunting &
Conservation Program accreditation RPL is provided
to:-
Holders of a NSW R Game Licence will receive RPL for modules 2. Hunter Ethics
and 3. Firearms Handling
Holders of any First Aid
Certificate that has Workplace (NSW Workcover)
accreditation will receive RPL for module 7. First
